1. Rawr Reapers

Rawr Reapers look to be the most complete team without seeing their play yet in the season. They will need to play a lot their star player in Hikaku to help him getting going on the many hyper carries he shows games on. If they can done that they will have a strong season. The one weak point I see is they play a win hard or lose hard in their mid and top champs. This is a team that could make games very interesting whenever they have a chance to be streamed. My dark horse player on this team is the support with his hard win rates and KDA’s on multiple champs!

2. Bloom Lilly

There might be some bias here as I play for this team but based on the players and what I know of them this team should be in the upper part of the bracket with solid team play that they can produce. This team has a strong connection with the support Lexar and the jungle DNA Vikrov which if it keeps growing could make them the best players in their roles. The one weakness in this team is they seem to never know when to just stop the bleeding and be less hunger for kills! If this can change and they keep growing they should be able to get to that number 1 spot.

3. UMass Amherst

UMass is next up on my list with the only reason they fell behind Bloom being that I see not many different kind of picks from their op.gg which leads me to think they could be banned out a lot in games. That being said as a player that use to play on a college team like them the resources are there to help them grow and get much better through this swag life season. The player to watch on this team is noodll as it will be interesting to see if his other supports can come close to his pkye which looks nasty and something I would not want to play against. The same goes with WNamy and his graves. If this team can overcome smaller champ pools they can turn into a scary team!

4. Vegan Chickens

First of all they get the award for the best team name that’s for sure! They also look to have a strong player in jungle with Vegetaux. This is one of the biggest roles in the game so having him be a leader in the jungle is huge for this team. His champ pool also is a strong one in the given meta and looks like he can expand it if the meta changes. The things that worry me about this team is in middle with a small champ pool to help the jungle star when needed. The player to keep your eye on for this team other than the jungle is their ISM Beread who does not have crazy KDA’s but his win rates are up there which tells me he gets the bigger picture and could be a strong vocal leader for his team.

5. DAG

This is the next time up in which a know all of the players on the team and know that they can pull off huge games under pressure. Their star player is JayDK who can play about anything and make it look good. He can at times get a little too “Hype” but we love that for him and has a great stream to watch it all! Also after playing against Caterpillar4Now I know he can throw it down and take any of the top adc’s in this league on. The reason they are lower on this list is due to the fact I think Void and Ravemaster can be great players I need to see improvement from the last time I saw them play. This is the team I think could have the biggest jump on the list after week 1!

6. HSGB

This is a team that looks to be a solid team but when I look at them from a op.gg there is no player that is standing out as a superstar right out of the gates. They look pretty even with DAG with the only difference being that I know the DAG players better so I had to put them higher. This team could have some dark horses and could be the dark horse of the whole league in my own opinion. That being the said the two players I am looking forward to seeing if they can be the stand out players on the team are Blank Sora and HSG Black Hole. Both players look to have strong games in their op.gg and good stats. The question will be can those players prove they are better than their elo!

7. Glacial Valkryie

This team is kinda in the same boat as the last two teams with them not having stand out players on op.gg but not having bad players by any means. They do have good champ pools but the reason I put them at the bottom of the three teams above them is that the pools are big but not the most meta champs which could work against them or help them depending on how they use it. Xcution is the player to watch with having a bunch of champs in his pool that if they get ahead can spell gg to other teams very fast and can get out of hand fast.

8. Chronic Carries

This team comes in last to start the season for the power rankings due to only having 3 players for me to look at which leaves more questions than answers. The players that are listed could turn out to be great players but its tough to judge a team on 3 players. That being said I look forward to seeing the full team and seeing what they can do.
